Gayle Arnott of Bohemian Bea has shared the most important day of literally hundreds of brides in her career as a Bridal and Occasional Hair specialist.
In fact she has been styling hair now for over 28 years, and still has the same passion for creating gorgeous hair and beautiful memories.
She has trained with some of the best bridal hairstylists in the wedding industry such as her mentor Lucy Healy, who has helped her perfect her amazing skills and develop her own unique, beautiful bohemian style.
Using the most current wedding and fashion trends as inspiration, her signature looks are both beautifully soft and textured, and strikingly elegant.

Bridal and Occasion Hair Specialist
As a child I was so interested by hair. At that time my stepsister and her husband were both hairdressers and I always used to visit their salons with my mum and would always say “this is what I want to do when I grow up” and it stuck!
I never wanted to be anything else and would play with hair whenever possible, be it a pet or friends and family, whoever was willing.
I did my work experience in a very well-known chain of salons and from there got an evening and Saturday job.
I started my training straight away. Every Tuesday evening without fail.
I qualified at the age of 17 and began to run my own column.
After being employed at a couple of reputable salons I decided to open a salon of my own which I ran successfully for over 8 years.
At this time however I found that the running and upkeep of a salon and staff was taking me away from what I loved - the hairdressing.
So I shut up shop and started working for an amazing salon where my love for doing hair and pampering my clients returned.
Then In July 2019 after having my first little girl I decided to go independent within my own business again, but just me this time, which has enabled me to work my hours around my little girl.
Throughout my career I’ve loved doing hair ups, occasion, and wedding hair. I’ve worked on countless weddings, making brides feel fabulous over the years.
When covid hit I threw myself into training, focusing more and more on the speciality of hair ups.
I love the outdoors and nature so found myself using flowers from our garden and allotment for the styles, which is what led to the Bohemian vibe I am now known for (Plus I’m a hippy at heart really).
The more I trained on up dos, the more I wished to do more weddings again which then prompted me to launch “Bohemian Bea”.
I love every aspect of it. From the first enquiry to the trial, to then the big day. I just love being a part of such a special time and making the bride feel beautiful.
My aim is to make it all as relaxed and calm and take away any stresses that the bride may have.
